Estate Package $175 · Same-Day · Open 8 AM – 10 PM, 7 Days

Mobile Notary for Wills & Trusts in Sacramento
Sacramento Notary Co has specialized in estate planning document notarization since 2017. We come directly to your home, your attorney’s office, or your loved one’s bedside so that wills, living trusts, and powers of attorney are executed correctly — without a trip to a notary’s office.
Estate planning signings often involve multiple documents that must all be notarized in the same session: the will or self-proving affidavit, the revocable living trust declaration, a durable power of attorney, and sometimes a healthcare directive or POLST. Our $175 estate package covers will, trust, and POA in one visit — no per-document stacking. Additional documents are billed at the California statutory rate under Gov. Code §8211.

What to Have Ready
Estate signings go smoothly when everyone is prepared. Here’s what to have ready before your notary arrives:
Government-Issued Photo ID
Every signer needs a current, unexpired driver’s license, California ID, or U.S. passport. Need one? Visit dmv.ca.gov
Unsigned, Complete Documents
Do not sign documents in advance — all signatures must be made in the notary’s presence to be valid. Documents must be complete with no blank fields
Witnesses (if required)
California wills require two witnesses in addition to notarization. Powers of attorney under Prob. Code §4121 may also need witnesses — we can coordinate on-site
For trust documents, the settlor (trust creator) must be present and mentally competent at the time of signing. For healthcare directives and POLST forms, see the CDPH POLST program for form requirements. We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice — consult your estate planning attorney for guidance on which documents you need.

Wills & Trusts Notary FAQ
Does a will need to be notarized in California?
Not required for validity, but a notarized self-proving affidavit attached to the will allows probate court admission without witnesses appearing. Most estate attorneys recommend it. We can notarize the affidavit alongside your trust and POA in the same visit.
Does a living trust need to be notarized in California?
Yes — a revocable living trust must be notarized by the settlor to be effective for real property transfers. Our $175 estate package covers the trust declaration, will affidavit, and POA in one signing session.
What is included in the $175 estate package?
Will (or self-proving affidavit), revocable living trust, and durable POA — all in one visit. Additional documents (trust amendments, certifications, healthcare directives) are $15 per notarial act per Gov. Code §8211. Travel fee applies.
Can you notarize trust documents at a hospital or care facility?
Yes. Bedside estate signings are $175. We serve hospitals, SNFs, and hospice facilities throughout the Sacramento metro area. Call (916) 856-7000 for urgent scheduling — same-day available.
Does a power of attorney need to be notarized in California?
Yes — under Probate Code §4121, a durable POA must be notarized or signed by two witnesses. Notarization is required for acceptance by banks, financial institutions, and title companies. POA is $125 at home/office or $175 bedside.
How quickly can you come for a will or trust signing?
Same-day appointments available 8 AM–10 PM, 7 days a week. For urgent hospital or care facility signings, call (916) 856-7000 directly — typical arrival is 60–90 minutes for urgent requests.
